Siteplan Editor — Tool Reference

Default tool. Drag to pan; click an element to select it; click empty space to deselect. Press Escape at any time to return to this tool.

Reverts the last action. Ctrl+Z

Re-applies the last undone action. Ctrl+Y

Places a well with an automatic setback buffer ring. Select well type to set the correct separation distance.

Places a septic tank or lift station. Toggle Existing / New in the side panel. Drag to reposition; rotate in 10° increments.

Places a drainfield sized to the parcel's bedroom count. Set system type, Trench or Bed config, and line count in the side panel.

Places a swimming pool. Resize and rotate in the side panel.

Draws a buffered polyline. Choose the type from the dropdown before clicking. Click to add points; double-click to finish.

Draws a filled polygon. Choose the type from the dropdown before clicking. Click to add vertices; double-click to close.

Places a label with a leader line. Drag the anchor to reposition the arrowhead. Supports bold, italic, and text alignment.

Places a freestanding text label. Drag to reposition.

Click two points to see the distance. Non-printing — does not appear on PDF or SVG. Clears when you switch tools.

Places a permanent dimension line that prints on export. Label is auto-calculated from the drawn scale.

Auto fits the full parcel. Choose a forced scale (1″=20′ – 1″=300′) when a specific engineering scale is required.

Letter (8.5×11) or Tabloid (11×17). Tabloid recommended for large parcels.

Location diagram in the corner of the exported plan. Choose corner position or turn off.

Toggles aerial imagery as a drawing reference. Adjust opacity with the slider. Does not print on export.

Print-ready PDF at the selected page size and scale. Title block, setback labels, and dimension lines included.

Editable vector file for further customization in Inkscape or Illustrator.
